What is stored

A completed practice session can contain the exercise, selected Sa, timing, practice settings, pitch trace, score, voice-detection coverage, stability and swar-by-swar measurements. Guest sessions use a random device identifier. Signed-in sessions use a one-way account identifier so history can sync.

Optional product analytics

When enabled on a device, Saathi records feature events such as opening the app, starting the tanpura, hearing a reference, microphone success or failure, beginning an exercise and saving a result. It may include UTM campaign labels and the referring domain, but never the complete referring URL.

Analytics events are kept for up to 90 days. A pseudonymous first-seen and acquisition profile is removed after 365 days of inactivity. You can turn analytics off independently in Settings; practice history and syncing continue normally.

What is never stored

• Microphone recordings or voice audio
• Raw IP addresses in practice or analytics records
• Complete referral URLs or browsing history
• Passwords created for Saathi
• Your raw email inside the practice database

Retention and security

Saved practice sessions remain until you delete them. If a save fails, one result may remain temporarily in this browser for retry. Hashed rate-limit counters used to protect the service expire within 48 hours.

Your controls

“Clear history” removes saved sessions and pitch measurements only. It does not remove already-retained anonymous analytics. Settings provides a complete data export, analytics opt-out and “Delete all my data,” which removes both saved practice and retained analytics connected to the account and current device.
